Enjoy your journey in Aswan and discover the most important landmarks and what makes it so special. after you get picked up from your hotel in Aswan, meet your guide and enjoy the motorboat ride and the special Nile view on your way to explore Philae temple, This beautiful temple complex is one of the most picturesque in all of Egypt.

The temple of Isis was one of the last ancient Egyptian temples to remain active, as it continued to function until the reign of the Byzantine Emperor Justinian I (527–565 AD). Then you’ll head to the second site to dig up and learn more about the story behind the unfinished obelisk, known in the ancient Egyptian language as tekhen. famous for its supply of hard and high-quality stone.

Believed to have been commissioned by Hatshepsut (c. 1473–1458 BC) for the temple of Amun in Karnak. Your last stop will be The High Dam.
The Dam is 3600 meters long, 980 meters thick at the base, and 111 meters tall. Egypt’s modern example of construction on a monumental scale, the controversial Aswan High Dam, 13km south of Aswan, contains 18 times the amount of material used in the Great Pyramid of Khufu and created Lake Nasser, one of the world’s largest artificial lakes.

Beautiful excursion. I was initially hesitant to book as the site mentioned hotel as a pick up point, but we, as I believe most tourists to Aswan, were going to be on a ship. Samira got in touch with us right away and I was able to send her the location of the dock. With her I organized the various details of the excursion. The guide, Amira, picked us up directly in the lobby of the ship and told us many interesting details about the places during the visits. The Philae temples were a wonderful discovery and are some of the most beautiful I have seen in Egypt. At the end of the visit my husband realized that he had left his backpack on the boat, but Amira had the owner’s number, and she and the driver kindly helped us retrieve the backpack. I can say that all the staff is made up of nice people who can be talked to and are attentive to the needs of the customer.

Samira was extremly helpful in solving a problem that was my own mistake (wrong Date). She realy went the extra mile for me. Osama was my guide, very flexible, highly educated in Egyptian history, an expert in explaining complicated things and just a nice guy with a lot of humor. Thanks for showing me Egypt at its best!

Everything went very smoothly thanks to Samira’s help. She answered every question, was very helpful and really nice. The guide was very passionate, he showed us a lot of details in the philae temple and shared of course its story. He also told us a lot about Aswan’s history and main historical figures as we went from site to site. The experience was great and my friends and I highly recommend it !
