Full description

After early morning pickup from your central Luxor hotel or cruise ship, travel by air-conditioned vehicle to the launch site on the west bank of the Nile River. On arrival, enjoy a light pre-flight refreshments, and meet your expert pilot and ground crew. Next, listen to a comprehensive safety briefing and step inside the balloon’s sturdy basket with your pilot and several other passengers. Then, feel your adrenaline surge as the brightly colored balloon rises into the sky for your approximate 30-45 minutes flight.

As you ascend, behold the thrilling bird’s-eye views as the sunlight illuminates the temples and monuments below. Gaze down over Karnak, Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple, and other monuments while you absorb the peaceful dawn. Then, if the wind conditions are right, float over the Ramesseum, the impressive funerary temple of Pharaoh Ramses II, and gaze down at its pylons, statues, and courtyards.

While you float through the sky, a ground support van and crew will follow your balloon and will be there when you land. After a safe touchdown, step back onto land and receive your personal flight certificate. Finally, drive back to Luxor where your experience ends with a drop-off at your hotel or ship in time for breakfast and your morning tour departures.

amazing experience

Solo Traveller

It was an amazing experience, everything right on time for the sunrise and the spectacular view from above. The driver pick me up at the exact time, brought us in comfortable van and throughout the entire time of the fly the driver made us feel really safe. I’m really happy with everything, hope I’ll get to do it once again here in Luxor in the future.

Absolute nice ride, pick-up 4-4:30, well structured tourist attraction. Taking bus, boat and bus to the starting place near Hatshepsut. Don‘t imagine any romantic, you take of with couple of other balloons (25 at our day) , caged in basket of 20-32 person, what makes the difference in price between different offers but doesn‘t make a difference. The lower wind takes you one direction, the upper wind the other, after 45 min you land where you started. View on Hatshepsut and other temples, on the Nile and Luxor. 7:00 back at the hotel and the day is yours. Perfect if you never were in a hot air balloon. Pilot was well trained and experienced, explained what you see.
